Robert Huth has extensive experience in the retail industry and is recognised as a financial, retail, operations and brand expert.
From 1995 to 2013, Mr. Huth served initially as President and COO and after four years, as President and CEO of David’s Bridal, the US national specialty retailer of bridal apparel and accessories with 319 stores, over 10,000 associates and sales exceeding $760 million. David’s Bridal was purchased by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice for $1.05 billion in October 2012. Prior to joining David’s Bridal, Mr. Huth spent 8 years as Executive Vice President, CFO and Chief Administrative Officer at Melville Corporation, a NYSE listed specialty retailer with sales of over $13 billion from a diversified portfolio of 12 businesses in the health and beauty aid, apparel, footwear, toys and household furnishings segments. Mr. Huth started his career at KPMG Peat Marwick in New York where he was elected Partner at the age of 35. Currently, Mr. Huth serves on the board of Promise Financial and Bride & Co/Oleg Cassini. He is an Advisor to the board of Shopko.
