BevMo!
During the period of TowerBrook Fund II’s investment, BevMo! was a large, specialty retailer of alcoholic drinks and related items in the U.S. The company had over 150 stores located throughout California, Arizona and Washington. The typical 10,000-square-foot store carried a large assortment of products including over 3,800 wines, 2,400 spirits and 2,400 beers together with a wide variety of complementary products ranging from cocktail napkins and snack items to glassware and bar accessories. TowerBrook exited its investment in 2020 via the sale of BevMo! to goPuff, an affiliate of GoBrands.
