InStar
During the period of TowerBrook Fund I’s investment, InStar Services Group, Inc. was a national disaster response and restoration company in the US. InStar responded on an emergency basis following routine events such as fires and water line-breaks as well as large-scale, catastrophic events such as hurricanes, floods and tornadoes. Through its network of full-service offices throughout the Eastern, Southern and Southwestern US, InStar provided a full complement of restoration and reconstruction services to property owners/managers, commercial customers, insurers and individual homeowners. TowerBrook exited its investment in 2006 via the sale of InStar to ServiceMaster.
