During the period of TowerBrook Fund I’s investment, IntraLinks, Inc. was a provider of secure online workspaces to businesses worldwide. Its customers used the IntraLinks service to manage and exchange time-sensitive, confidential information, primarily with third parties. The service included a proprietary application for creating secure online environments, called On-Demand Workspaces, which enabled customers to accelerate complex, information-intensive business processes, while reducing costs and enhancing internal and regulatory compliance. TowerBrook exited its position in IntraLinks in 2007 via a sale of the company to a financial buyer.
