Rave Cinemas

During the period of TowerBrook Fund III’s investment, Rave Investments, LLC (Rave) owned and managed a network of 62 cinemas and approximately 939 screens across the US. Rave was formed to acquire the corporate infrastructure, brand, contracts, management team, employees, and business operations of 5 cinemas from Rave Review Cinemas, LLC, and the business operations, employees, and selected real estate assets of a further 33 cinemas from National Amusements, Inc. Under the terms of a management services agreement Rave managed an additional 27 cinemas operating under the Rave brand name. TowerBrook exited its investment in 2013 via a sale of substantially all of Rave’s assets to a subsidiary of Cinemark.
