Auto Europe LLC
During the period of TowerBrook Fund I’s investment, Auto Europe was a global distributor of leisure car rental services. The company operated three primary business units: Auto Europe (North America), brokering car rentals for outbound North American travelers to Europe; Auto Europe (Europe), brokering car rentals for intra-Europe travelers; and DriveAway Holidays, brokering car rentals for outbound Australian travelers to Europe. TowerBrook exited its investment in 2006 via a sale of the AutoEurope to a financial buyer.
